What Basic oral hygiene measures should be taken for my child’s teeth?
Brush your child’s teeth twice a day with a soft bristle, small head toothbrush and fluoride-containing toothpaste.
Post Operation Care - Extraction
The child should bite down onto the cotton as instructed for 30 minutes after the tooth removal.
Post Operation Care - Restoration
Avoid eating anything hard on the side of the treated tooth for the day.
Post Operation Care - Fluoride gel or varnish
Do not allow your child to eat or drink anything for 1 hour post the application.
Post Operation Care - Pulpectomy/ Root canal treatment
Don’t allow you child to eat or drink for the first 30 minutes.
