Arvind Sivakumar is a Craniofacial Orthodontist and a Cortico Basal Implantologist (Immediate loading implants) certified by the International Implant Foundation, Germany. He also works as a Senior consultant Craniofacial Orthodontist at Smile Train Leadership Unit, Bhagwan Mahavir Jain hospital, Bangalore. He is one of the founding members of Reface- Dentofacial Center of Excellence.
He did his graduation from the No 1 private dental college, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. He secured the 1st Rank in the All India Post graduate entrance examination & did his post-graduation from the No 1 dental college in the country, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences. He went on to super specialize in Craniofacial orthodontics by pursuing triple Fellowship from NITTE Meenakshi Craniofacial Centre, Mangalore (Swiss Cleft Fellowship), Showa University School of Dentistry, Tokyo, Japan & from the world renowned center for training in cleft- Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He had worked as an Associate Professor & consultant Craniofacial Orthodontist in his alma mater Saveetha Dental College. He is also an Invisalign certified orthodontist and certified Virtual Orthognathic surgery planning and Implant planning specialist.
He has conducted numerous national level hands-on workshops & guest lectures on Cleft lip & palate management, Nasoalveolar molding, orthognathic surgery, surgery first orthodontics, virtual planning, Mini Implants & Clinical Photography. He has numerous publications & patents in reputed international & national indexed journals. His field of interest are, Craniofacial Orthodontics, Cortico Basal Implantology, Cleft lip and palate Orthodontics including Nasoalveolar Molding, Surgery first approach, 3D computer aided surgical simulation, digital orthodontics, aligner therapy, Bone screws and other temporary anchorage devices, clinical photography.
